Integrity

As Administrator of the SFIA Code Compliance Certification Program, Architectural Testing provides a comprehensive industry resource for verification of the quality of structural, nonstructural, and proprietary nonstructural cold-formed steel framing. Architectural Testing is accredited as an independent inspection agency to the requirements of ISO 17020 and is also accredited as an independent testing laboratory in accordance with ISO 17025. Verification of the manufacturer’s certification is supported with unannounced manufacturing facility audits and independent random sampling and testing of certified products for compliance with the SFIA program requirements.

Assurance

Manufacturers can assure specifiers and users that their products meet code requirements. End-users can be confident that products bearing the SFIA certification program labels are verified to meet the program requirements on an ongoing basis through independent inspection and testing.

Labels

Structural, nonstructural, and proprietary cold-formed steel framing products certified under the SFIA Code Compliance Certification Program are marked with the program’s structural or nonstructural certification labels. Only products that have been verified to meet the program requirements are authorized to bear these labels.
