Job Title: BUILDING SCIENCES - REGIONAL MANAGER/ENGINEER

Location: YORK, PA

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Perform building envelope consulting, investigation and commission services
• Lead a team of professionals as part of Architectural Testing’s rapidly growing Building Sciences Group
•  Provide leadership and communication to the local team while coordinating with national resources to satisfy customer demands
• Develop new business relating to building envelope consulting, commissioning and/or forensics in the Northeast.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings and submittals pertaining to the building enclosure
• Write and execute building enclosure commissioning plans, specifications and testing protocols
• Manage and administer project meetings
• Observe and document mock-up and field installations as well as associated functional performance testing
• Write proposals
• Participate in training and management of staff
• Travel throughout the northeast
• Follow all company policies

• Degree in Architecture or Engineering (architectural, civil, mechanical or structural)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction
• Ability to work independently
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time or more
• Ability to develop and maintain excellent client relationships
• A general level of understanding on the following building science / performance categories is required: energy, acoustical, structural, air infiltration/exfiltration, vapor drive/diffusion, thermal, water drainage
• Ability to develop new commissioning business

• Registered professional engineer or architect 
• Hospital, institutional or high performance building experience
• WUFI/Therm
• BIM
• RCI certifications
• LEED AP
